JUNE WORKSHOPS AT THE BOURNEMOUTH POOLE COLLEGE

June 3, 2015: Your personal Totem Pole
an assessment tool for new clients to establish a starting point in therapy/stuck-ness in therapy process,
we will use pastel and drawing paper.
10:00 - 15:30

June 10, 2015: You and Your Family
to establish client's relationship/position in the family setting/exploring an attitude inherited by the family setting,
we will use clay.
10:00 - 15:30

June 24, 2015: The Body as Container
to explore where tension/pain etc is stored in the body,
we will use paint and drawing paper.
10:00 - 15:30

July 1, 2015: Making a Home for your Heart
to explore the client's desire to place into his/her heart. This leads to a possible discussion of what's in there in the first place,
we will use construction with mount board, glue, masking tape and some clay.
10:00 - 15:30

Each workshop lasts one full day.
The teaching format uses the student's experiental work to work in a concrete way some of the theories of psychotherapy and helpful to become clearer and realistic in the working world.
Each workshop is designed to fit into any scheduled one-hour session.

I call these workshops: TOOLS OF ART THERAPY. I am a state registered art therapy, registered with the British Association of Art Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
